Hahahaha! Thanx for the clarification, Amanda! I didn’t seriously think he (or anyone else in Whyalla) was an axe murderer – but like you say, you never know 😎
]]>I am a local from whyalla i was born there and spent most of my life there. I just googled to find some info about wild dog hill and this came up, i laughed so hard reading this 😅
Just to clarify its actually pretty normal for most locals to just go out there for no reason although most people don’t do it alone some do, i my self have gone out there alone a few times but i dont stay if i see another car in the car park id do a lap and leave because you know murders are all you never know 😄
Hahaha, and this is the perfect place for that to happen 😀 Actually … just between us, it’s not that spooky – but whoever let the facts get in the way of a good story??!!
]]>Haha, glad you enjoyed it Nuraini – not all travel needs to be serious!
]]>I guess the people with axe murderer experience are mostly dead??!! But that little element of uncertainty that makes life so exciting also adds another dimension to what was already a mighty fine Outback location!!
]]>I SO agree, Katherine! The Outback has that distinctive look and feel, no matter where you are – but even without the facilities, nothing beats those wide open spaces. Unless there’s an axe murderer lurking about, haha!
